We’re happy this morning sharing some select images from A&D’s recent wedding in Washington, DC. This sophisticated, private couple endured a bracing wind, plunging temperatures, cold rain and a last minute venue change on their wedding day thanks to the earthquake! But there were no worries, and as you can see, there were abundant smiles that day. Enjoy your weekend, everyone! We have a special surprise coming for you next week that we. cannot. wait. to. share!

Congratulations, A&D! We wish you nothing but smooth sailing ahead.

Woot! Congratulations today to our dear clients Nikki and Josh, who are celebrating their first anniversary. We reached out to them recently to ask about some of their favorite images from their wedding. This is what they had to share.

One of our favorites. We love the lighting in this and how it hits the lanterns, the dance floor, and the tall ceilings. Mostly we love that it expresses how we felt dancing that night; lost in each other, like it was just the two of us alone together.

We both fondly remember this moment; we took a moment for ourselves and this perfectly captures our realization, as we look at our rings, that hey WE’RE MARRIED! 🙂

This photo is just gorgeous. It captures the beauty of the day/ceremony perfectly, with the tall green trees and of course our friend the sun!

We both love the lighting in this one, and the detail.

Just love Josh’s face in this photo & his reaction to our first sight

This photo is great! Love the vibrant colors of the flowers & grass, Leo’s rosy cheeks and how cute he is in his ring bearer outfit, and the whole story behind this… he didn’t make it down the aisle during the ceremony but he sure made up for it after. Such a sweet boy 🙂

Congratulations, you two, and thank you for sharing your faves!

Welcome back! We hope you enjoyed reading Part I earlier today. As hard as it was to narrow down our favorite moments, it may have been even harder to narrow down all the beautiful, vintage details Nikki and Pam had collected throughout the years. Be careful – upon viewing all the delicious eye candy that follows, we’d hate for you to go into diabetic shock. 😉 Enjoy!

Even their beloved pooches made a virtual appearance on the bottle openers!

The Hokie birds above (and placed by their wedding cake) might be an obvious nod to their alum, Virginia Tech, but there was more subtle personalization. The original Roy Rogers lantern below belonged to Nikki’s dad when he was a boy.
