Friday's FAB Finds! Leave a Comment
We’re hard a work editing and tweaking several FAB weddings, but they aren’t ready to share quite yet, so how about a few FAB Finds instead? Happy Friday!!
Ideas We Love – Bringing the Indoors Out
I’ve been wanting to do a post on this idea for a while now, as I’ve been seeing more and more people embracing the concept. Instead of bringing the outdoors IN, let’s bring the indoors OUT!
One of our favorite wedding blogs, Snippet & Ink, recently featured a couple of weddings that took the indoors out theme to such beautiful, brave and unique levels, I just had to share them with you in case you missed them on Kathryn’s FAB blog.
Kate & Jesse brought out vintage rugs and pillows and surrounded them by lanterns on the grass for lounging during the reception and for viewing an old b/w movie they screened after dark! These are just a few of their and their wedding planner, Emily Kelly, FAB ideas – be sure to check out their sweet wedding story on Snippet & Ink.

They also had an Italian style family meal at long farm tables under the trees. Beautiful (and brave to go without a tent, but probably a little less brave in sunny CA.

I found Brooke and Steve’s gorgeous wedding on another of our fave wedding blogs, Southern Weddings. (One of our Blogs/Links We Love back on the 04 edition of FAB Finds!) Brooke and her Dad, made a “church” for their golf course wedding! Can you believe it?! Sooooo cool and absolutely gorgeous. I absolutely love that she and her Father created it together – so incredibly special.

Jessica Claire’s fabulous wedding last Fall was one of the first ones we saw to blur the lines between indoors and out. Very cool!

So what do you think? Are you a fan of the concept?
Hope you have a fantastic weekend – whether you’re indoors or outside!
xoxo,
…anne

Okay, so it’s pretty darn cool having a one-and-a-half year old nephew close by with which we can hang out, read stories, bang drums (especially when mom and dad are around) and generally cause mischief and fun. We had a chance to baby-sit Bobby one recent weekday and took him to the park near Anne and her brother’s childhood home for cookies and playtime.

Here are a few images we’ve been neglectful in sharing, and were taken a few weeks prior during one of Andy & Jen’s visit to our house for the weekend. As you can see, it was nearing bedtime for Bobby.

Today we’re celebrating Erin & Bryan’s gorgeous Spring vineyard wedding. Be sure to check out Part One if you missed it – this one is all about their beautiful and personal details!
The Dream Team:
- Floral Design: Beehive Events, Shawn Marie Cossette
- Venue & Catering: Veritas, Chloe Hodson Frey
- Cake Artist: Favorite Cakes, Kathy Watkins
- Entertainment: Trademark Band
- Wedding Gown: Monique Lhuillier

Jade plants served as decoration *and* favors!

Erin and her Mom made hundreds of origami paper cranes to hang over the similarly adorned escort cards. SO cool!

Erin makes absolutely beautiful jewelry (Anne is the proud owner of several pieces!) and made earrings and charm bracelets for all her attendants. Each bridesmaid’s charm was stamped with a word or two that summarized their personality or uniqueness to Erin, such as Anchor or Free Spirit. Such a sweet and meaningful gift.

LOVE the inscription she put in the wedding ring she made for Bryan!

And an unforgettable evening was had by all. Congratulations again, Erin & Bryan!!!

Lose yourself….

…we’ll find you.

Dear e&b,
Erin, we’re so grateful for the friendship we’ve had over the years, and when you told us Bryan had proposed, we were just giddy with excitement for you both. The engagement portraits we did with you down in South Carolina sealed the deal and by that point we were just counting down the days until your wedding at Veritas Vineyards. We’ve seen a lot of very happy brides over the years, but the instant bubbliness you exuded at the vineyard on that beautiful Spring day as you walked through the door was contagious and set the mood for the rest of the evening’s festivities. Bryan, your Southern charm and easygoing nature was the perfect compliment and demonstrated so well, as if it were needed, just how much the two of you loved each other.
The extra touches you created for everyone, from Helen’s coffee cake to honor your grandmother, to the beautiful handmade jewelry you created as gifts for your bridesmaids (all 11 of them!), really added to the personality of your celebration. And oh, my goodness, those origami paper cranes you hung from the tree and had on the escort cards – WOW!! You know us well enough by now to know we get such reward from bearing witness to the love of our friends as well as the unique and personal touches added by each couple, and boy, the two of you made it easy for us!
We loved every minute of it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Congratulations, and our very best wishes for a loving and longstanding marriage!
With Joy,
…a&b
PS – We *know* Bryan won’t need that reminder on his ring, but we LOVE it anyway!
PPS – Check back later today for another post featuring all your amazing eye candy!!
