A hearty congratulations to our own Brook and Josh, who celebrated their wedding this past fall at Veritas Vineyards. While the day began rainy and a bit muddy, the amazing light that shone through the clouds as the skies cleared made for some amazing photos of these two. Not to mention the gorgeous decor designed by the ever-talented Jennifer Carroll and arranged by our fave Pat’s Floral Designs. Weddings Unveiled magazine can be found on newsstands starting tomorrow, but here’s a little sneak peek for you all tonight. The issue is packed full of great photography and interesting articles and is easily one of our very favorite wedding magazines around for its clean look and great photography (if we do say so ourselves).

Some time ago we started following Janie’s postings on The Bride’s Cafe, a mixture of whimsy and fun and always down to Earth. Imagine our pleasant surprise when we found out that Janie, the mastermind behind this popular blog, lives right in our back yard! As she was merely an hour from us in Richmond, we decided to get together yesterday for a delicious lunch at one of her favorite restaurants and to get to know each other. She’s an absolute delight, and with her genuine concern for people and the enthusiasm, it’s easy to see why her endeavors are so popular with brides and wedding professionals alike (not to mention her gorgeous floral arrangements from her floral design business). We loved hearing her stories and getting to know her, and is officially one of the People We Love (more on this later!)
We had recently sent to Janie some of our favorite images from sweetheart Laura & Scott’s fall wedding right here in Charlottesville, and she’s featured them on her blog today! Check it out here, and we hope you enjoy more of her musings and features in the future!
